“ You don’t take a photograph, you make it. - Ansel AdamsThis quote, from one of the great photographers in history, is so very true. I used to dream of having better equipment to work with and of course I would then take better pictures, right? True to an extent, but not entirely. Obviously the over all quality of the your images should be much better with a $2000 D-SLR camera as opposed to a $99 point & shoot camera. But there is a process to go about & things to consider such as composition, camera settings, white balance, lighting and the many other components that go into taking a good photograph. Then you have variables that you cannot control (Sunlight, Weather & etc) but you must adjust to.
So you can see how Ansel Adams would suggest that you don't just "take" a photo, you "make" it.
So go ahead and make some good photographs! I encourage you to google Ansel Adams and check out some of his work, it's amazing!
